FLL - FIRST LEGO League
Every year, Team 1073 hosts a FIRST LEGO League Regional Competition. At this exciting time, students (from ages nine to fourteen) gather together to compete with their LEGO robots. A large element of this project not only lies in building the robot itself, but also in the presentation of research (based on the current year’s theme) in front of a panel of judges. Teamwork is another key component during both seasons of the FIRST LEGO league. Throughout the experience, kids gain teamwork and problem solving skills, as well as confidence, and new friends!
